Ko was born to the granddaughter of the Great Kande Omenah. Shortly after their birth, Ko was taken in by a different family when their mother was excommunicated from the tribe for becoming Vervloek. Ko was watched from a very young age due to their mother's misstep and their heritage. At age three, when they began developing their skin pigments and small, exterior fangs, it was declared by the current speaker that Ko was a sign from Afe himself and would be immediately considered for the role of speaker.

As Ko grew, so did their influence on the people around them. Ko was naturally charismatic and even during their Speaker Acolyte ceremony, many guessed which student would be the one to be "chosen" when Ko (who was supposed to remain anonymous) would do a small happy wiggle whenever a different student "lost" the battle of wits.

Ko's speaker passed away in 1049 OGA and they have since been working hard to maintain his teachings while dealing with the recent flow of people to the Frontier.
