 Fauna & Flora 

 

 The plant-like organisms on this planet are mostly tall shrubs and trees, many of which have a surprising amount of different colours. Some even have strong scents. The small amount of flowers that do exist share these characteristics, but almost all of them are tiny. While there are a good amount of fungi on this planet, most of them have little to no colour, but they have the strongest scent of all organisms, most of which are horrible.  Although diverse in colours, shapes and sizes, none of the organisms have developed much. Most are still in a very crude form and those that did start to develop specialized parts have still a long way to go.  The underwater plants are also very basic. The steps to higher, more specialized organisms are slowly being taken, but it will take thousands of years before we'll be able to see much variation in the planet's underwater life. Fish and amphibians species are numerous on this planet, both of which are heavily supported by the high insect populations and it is these insects who are the most interesting. They're the one responsible for the abundance of life, they're food for the bigger species, while also the pollinators for many of the plant-like organisms. Their roles in this world have given birth to a huge variety of specialized insects, each with their unique colours, shapes and sizes.
