Atmosphere: Breatheable mix Temperature: Temperate Biosphere: Human-miscible Population: Hundreds of millions of inhabitants Tech Level: TL3 Devastated years ago by some man made apocalyptic event, the people on Echo have lived on floating cites for generations. The land being entirely uninhabitable, they take everything from the oceans and much of their energy is spent gathering fresh water.

Echo is a charred landscape with the only life surviving in or on the oceans.

The water plants on this planet are very different from what most people are used to. While they roughly share the same colours, or lack thereof, these plants have developed into mostly flesh eating species. Almost no aquatic creature is safe, even the bigger ones can sometimes get caught in these death traps. The underwater world also has its fair share of "forests". Mostly in the form of long, grass-like water plants, but there are few dozens places on this planet where actual underwater forests grow. The species in these forests aren't actual trees, but they work in similar ways. Roots keep them in place, while a trunk helps carry the nutrients to every part of its body. At the top, branch-like tentacles grow to feed on micro-organisms near the surface. These tentacles often reach above the surface, giving the water a mysterious and eerie look.

The plant-like organisms on this planet are trees and lots of them. Oddly enough, trees are the only plant-like organism on this planet, but they come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes. The smallest can be compared to that of Bonsai trees and they grow in huge numbers. Due to their numbers the only other nutrients left in the soil are those deep in the ground, which lead to most other types of trees to become either enormously tall or very wide. Corals, or what closely resembles corals, cover the bottoms of almost every body of water, both lakes and oceans. Their beauty and the unique properties of this planet's waters make for some of the most impressive natural spectacles. No Fauna exists on Teus.
