They continued to travel and make friends in their journey, including a philanthropist from Kurleigh by the name of Anton. A few years later, Anton informed them that someone was after Niamh's expertise and is going to kill Calder in order to get Niamh to cooperate. The three of them fake Clader's death, but Niamh is made to forget this by interference from the Seraph. She continues as a travelling bard, believing she is a widow but never truly moving on from her husband. She eventually joins the party that would become The Guardian's of the Lost as they are hired by Anton to enter Prathia to rescue one of his allies from a Harwood Prison.
