 Esther Pasture (born Esther Cordo) was raised in a middle class family in Kurleigh Castle. She lived a mostly unassuming life until she was attacked in an alley while on her way home from a family event. The mugger left her to bleed out but she was found by the previous Matron of the Pasture family, Céleste. Esther was offered the chance at immortality through Vampirism and she accepted. Esther slowly proved herself over the years and became a figurehead in the family before finally having the title of Matron passed to her when Céleste retired to rest her mind in the year 900. Esther quickly began implementing changes, bringing forward new ideas and cementing the family as a cornerstone of Kurleigh. 

 

 

 Since encountering the Guardians of the Lost through direct intervention of The Betrayed, her life has been relatively chaotic. She was killed by the Illithilich terrorizing Kurleigh after the death of The Mother but was revived using pieces of the brain of a Neothelid.
